DevLog #1 First release and things to come


Hello everyone!

To start this first Dev Log I want to say thank you to everyone who played my game, it is quite a strange feeling to see so many people taking an interest in my work. What started as a simple creative (and kinky) outlet, a bit more than a year ago now, to learn 3D and to take my mind off of my (crappy) job became a lot more and thanks to my work experience with C/C++, I was able to get a good understanding of how the Unreal Engine works to combine the two and create my own game.

This game is the result of thousands of line of code and countless hours of 3D modeling and texturing and while there is still a lot more to do and to talk about as I have a clear idea of the world I want to build and the story I want to tell, for now, let's focus on more immediate goals and content:

One of the main new feature of the next major update will be Followers, their implementation is well on the way, for now they can follow you around (obviously), help in fight and trade inventory items. I still need to implement some important feature like giving them order or healing them when they are downed.

Another smaller feature that is already implemented is what I call Delayed Start, in Alpha 1.0 when you start a new game you immediately start at the location for your first mission but now after creating your character you'll have the choice to instead be teleported to your apartment and start the main quest later. While it's a simple feature I find it really useful as you won't have to go trough the intro mission again and again when you just want to create a quick new game to mess around a bit in the game.

I also started to block out the next main hub area which will include new shops and location like a Diner, Hotel and a Store where you'll be able to customize your character. This new area will only by available in Alpha 1.1 which will be available in January but if progress is good I will give you the opportunity to visit the area earlier.

I will soon improve the Access Tunnels too for now they are pretty much empty aside from the outlaws hideouts, my goal is to make them look like a network of tunnels connecting small areas and caves comparable to slums with makeshift shelter on top of each other and while safer than hideouts the player can still make some dangerous encounters there.

 

And to end this first Dev Log, in about 2/3 weeks from now I'll upload a Christmas Update with a special quest and rewards:

Stolen Christmas

Someone stole from Alyssa, the sex shop owner, her shipment is missing and she needs your help to retrieve it.

It will include 3 different encounters that you can solve in different ways as well as several rewards:

  • Christmas decorations to customize your apartment. (Implemented)


  • Candy Cane Toy and Christmas Buttplug (Texture and models done, needs to be implemented in game)


  • Kinky Santa outfit. (early WIP)


This update will also include two new animations sets:

  • Cowgirl 01.
  • Missionary 01.

The Christmas Update will be available first for Patreons as soon as it is ready and since it is soon Christmas the public version will be available shortly after on Christmas Eve.
